Service Assistant

​​​Morrison Industrial Equipment is looking for a Service Assistant to join our team at our Brighton branch, located at 1183 S Old US Highway 23, Brighton, MI 48116-1604. This team member will work Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5pm, and will work 40 hours a week. Compensation starts from $21-26/hour, depending on experience. Daily Responsibilities: Processing of technician timecards and organizing weekly payroll.Opening, processing, and monitoring of work orders to ensure successful and efficient service.Proactively contacting customers to provide repair status of units.Debriefing with technicians at the conclusion of each day for the purpose of efficient scheduling.Repair estimate preparation, presentation, and processing.Processing of warranty claims.Answering phones and assisting customers with a positive customer focused attitude.Assisting with rental inquiries, quotations, set-up and deliveries.Intermediate level computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office 365 including Outlook, Word and Excel.Additional duties, as assigned.Our Service Assistants Typically Possess:Strong interpersonal skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong mechanical knowledge Computer skills, intermediate level, including experience with Microsoft Office 365Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environmentExcellent customer service skillsBenefits:We offer health, dental, vision, FSA options, life, and disability insurance available on the first day of employment.
