Salary: $30 - $35 per hour (DOE)Roles and Responsibilities:Prioritizing and organizing the team workloads to meet MEC KPI goals.Key communicator with the customers and vendorsConfirm shipment profitability and escalate any loss and low profit files.Managing CNS ReportSubmitting RFQ to gain new business or to maintain current businessSupervising Air Export Team and POC for escalationsQuality control checks on making sure all export documentation is correct, Including Customs filing and TSA verificationMonitoring Vendors PerformanceWorking and Training Air Export team so that they can achieve their performance goals.Review Dangerous Goods shipments in order to make sure we are compliant with Airlines restrictionsSupporting department in reducing cost for more profitabilityOther duties as assigned by management.Qualifications:1. Minimum of B.A./B.S. degree from an accredited college or university: or a combination ofan A.A. degree of similar emphasis, combined with an increased amount ofindustry/company experience may be substituted.2. Minimum of five years experience in key phases of the freight-forwarding industry, focus inAir Export, with half of that total in a functional group supervisory role.3. Knowledge of carrier contracts and tariffs and federal and state government carrierregulations.4. Knowledge of export licenses and Carnet procedures.5. Attention to detail, deadline-oriented, dependable, persistence, time management,independent, documentation skills, scheduling and reporting skills.6. Proven ability to communicate effectively with clients and vendors.7. Experience in Sales is a plus.8. Proven ability to suggest and implement corrective actions in case of issues that may arise.
