Project Overview
Morris Technology Solutions (MTS) is seeking a Financial Systems Analyst to join our team on a full-time contract. This role will work closely with IT&S Leadership, Finance, and external vendors to support and enhance enterprise financial systems while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.

What You’ll Do
- Provide daily support for multiple financial systems, ensuring stability, data integrity, and timely reporting.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues; escalate and execute solutions as needed.
- Lead projects or product enhancements, collaborating across IT, finance, and vendor teams.
- Gather, document, and analyze business requirements, ensuring clear communication with stakeholders.
- Design, document, and implement technical solutions in line with the hybrid project/product lifecycle.
- Develop and execute test plans, train end users, and create process documentation for knowledge transfer.
- Monitor system performance, identify risks, and recommend process improvements.
- Stay current on healthcare finance systems, accounting practices, and new technology offerings.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 3–5 years of relevant experience supporting financial or healthcare IT systems.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service mindset.
- Ability to operate independently with complex problem analysis and execution.
Highly Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Cerner, Lab Billing practices, and Insurance policy workflows.
- Experience with Xifin and Atlas/Clinisys.
- Strong understanding of HL7 messaging standards.
- Database expertise: MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- EPIC Certification is a major plus.
