Job Summary:
The New Construction Installer is responsible for overseeing and leading the installation of HVAC systems, duct work, line sets, and furnace maintenance in residential homes. This role involves managing a team of installers, ensuring that installations are completed efficiently and in compliance with codes and regulations. The ideal candidate will be able to lead a crew, install equipment, read blueprints, and ensure compliance.
Pay: $25.00 - $34.00 Per Hour
Schedule:
· Full time position | Monday – Friday
· Overtime opportunities available
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency
- Ensure all installations are compliant with local building codes, manufacturer specifications, and safety regulations
- Read and interpret blueprints
- Train and mentor junior HVAC installers, providing guidance and support for skill development and job performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues in a timely manner, ensuring minimal disruption to the customer
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as engineers and contractors
· Operate a company van to travel to job sites.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in the Residential HVAC field
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, tools, and safety regulations
- Ability to read and understand technical documentation
- Relevant certifications or licenses as required by local regulations – EPA, Journeyman License
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and effectively prioritize tasks
- Excellent leadership, communication, and management skills
