The Uniform Clerk is responsible for managing the issuance, inventory, and overall organization of team member uniforms at Morongo Casino Resort & Spa. This role ensures all team members are properly outfitted and that uniform stock levels are maintained accurately and efficiently. The Uniform Attendant plays a vital role in supporting department operations by keeping detailed uniform records and ensuring timely laundering and replacement processes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Issues uniforms to new and existing team members, ensuring proper fit and documentation.
- Maintains accurate inventory control of all uniform stocks, tracking usage, returns, and replenishments.
- Organizes and updates team member uniform files, recording issuance history and related information.
- Coordinates rental and laundry costs, accurately allocating charges to the appropriate departments.
- Ensures uniform storage areas remain clean, organized, and secure always.
- Assists with uniform orders and communicates with vendors as needed to maintain adequate supply levels.
- Operates PC-based inventory software to track stock levels and generate inventory reports.
- Maintains strict confidentiality regarding team member records and department expenditures.
- Issues uniforms to Team Members and update records when Team Members separate.
- Provides excellent customer service to internal departments and team members.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities but may support departmental processes and assist team members with uniform needs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Knowledge of inventory control procedures, preferably in a uniform or wardrobe setting.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Professional demeanor with the ability to interact courteously and effectively with staff at all levels.
- Proficient in PC-based software programs for tracking inventory and maintaining records.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive and classified information.
- Demonstrates reliability, organization, and commitment to quality service.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Additional coursework in inventory control, retail, or hospitality is a plus.
- Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in inventory, uniform distribution, retail, or a similar clerical support role.
- Experience issuing, tracking, and maintaining uniforms and related supplies in accordance with departmental procedures.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate inventory records and perform data entry.
- Familiarity with uniform management systems, garment care, and storage standards.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills with a guest- and team-focused attitude.
- Familiarity with industrial sewing equipment and ability to perform simple clothing alterations.
- Prior experience in a casino, resort, or hospitality environment is preferred.
LICENSES, CERTIFICATES, REGISTRATIONS:
Must have successfully completed a background check and obtained a gaming license issued by the Morongo Gaming Agency, as required.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Must be able to read and interpret documents in English, such as instructions, guidelines, policies, and procedures. Must also be able to communicate clearly and effectively with team members, management, and guests.

- Manual Dexterity: Regularly uses hands and fingers to handle clothing items, operate tagging equipment, hang garments, scan barcodes, and manage inventory or order forms.
- Mobility: Frequently moves throughout the uniform room and storage areas to distribute, retrieve, organize, and maintain uniforms; may involve bending, reaching, and walking in tight storage spaces.
- Stationary Work: Occasionally remains seated at a workstation while completing data entry, inventory logs, order processing, or recordkeeping.
- Tool Operation: Regular use of handheld scanners, computers, garment tagging tools, labeling equipment, and standard office devices such as printers and telephones.
- Visual Acuity: Requires close vision to inspect uniform condition, verify labels and sizes, and review records or logs; may also require attention to detail when handling department-specific uniform requests.
- Working Conditions: Routinely works in a stockroom or laundry-adjacent environment with exposure to cleaning products, garment materials, and occasional temperature fluctuations; occasional exposure to a smoking environment while passing through casino or public areas.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This is a dynamic, fast-paced environment that requires the ability to adapt and perform under pressure. The casino operates with moderate to loud noise levels and is a smoking environment, requiring team members to work comfortably in these conditions.
WORKING HOURS:
Morongo Casino Resort & Spa operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year; therefore, flexibility in scheduling is essential. Team members must be available to work shifts that may include evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events. Schedules are subject to change based on business needs and may include overtime, as well as work on both weekdays and weekends.
