This part-time, day-shift position (with a rotating weekend and holiday schedule) offers the opportunity to serve our residents, their guests, and fellow team members in a warm and welcoming environment. What will I do as the Café Attendant?
- Prepare and handle food in accordance with sanitary regulations established by the Department of Health, Department of Agriculture, and Morningstar Living.
- Responsible for running the register systems, serving food, helping any customers who need extra attention.
- Assist in daily cleaning duties as shown on sanitation checklist or as instructed by supervisor.
- Responsible for providing excellent customer service to residents, visitors and staff.
What do I need to be the Café Attendant?
- Demonstrated dependability and consistency with all policies and procedures in the Dining Services department.
- Must have the ability to interact well with residents, visitors and staff and be able to resolve any customer complaints or re-direct to the Cafe Supervisor.
- Must be able to perform some short order cooking and have the willingness to learn more production responsibilities.
