What will you do?
- Guest Reception: Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and professional demeanor. Ensure a positive first impression.
- Table Management: Manage reservations, assign tables, and ensure the seating arrangements are organized and efficient. Handle waitlists and communicate estimated wait times to guests.
- Customer Service: Answer phone calls, respond to guest inquiries, and assist with any special requests or concerns. Provide information about menu options, specials, or event details.
- Waitlist Management: Maintain an accurate waitlist during busy times, ensuring guests are seated as quickly as possible.
- Collaboration: Work with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication and a seamless experience for guests.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the host stand, entrance, and seating areas neat and welcoming. Ensure menus and other materials are organized and clean.
- Reservations Management: Use reservation systems (e.g., OpenTable, Resy) to manage guest bookings and coordinate seating efficiently.
- Assist in Special Events: Help with event coordination and ensure guests’ needs are met during special events or large gatherings.
- Manage Guest Flow: Direct guests to their tables and ensure a steady flow of customers in and out of the dining area.
- Upsell when appropriate: Inform guests about daily specials, promotions, or items that could enhance their dining experience

- Experience: Prior experience in a customer service role or hospitality is preferred, but not required.
