What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Inspector position at MORGAN STEEL LLC?
We’re looking for a Quality Inspector to inspect raw materials, in-process work, and finished products to ensure they meet customer requirements and internal quality standards. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, working closely with production, engineering, and quality teams.
What You’ll Do

Inspect incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products

Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and work instructions

Perform inspections per customer requirements and quality standards

Document inspection results accurately and identify non-conforming material

Assist with first-article and first-off inspections

Work with production and engineering to help resolve quality issues

Support continuous improvement and corrective action efforts

Help promote quality awareness on the shop floor

Participate in audits as needed
What We’re Looking For

Experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment

Quality inspection or quality assurance experience preferred

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

Knowledge of measurement tools and inspection techniques

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Lean manufacturing experience a plus

Good communication and teamwork skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required

Technical degree or coursework a plus, but not required

Equivalent experience will be considered
Salary : $19 - $21
