Payroll Associate
This role is responsible for processing weekly payroll and settlements accurately and on time, ensuring data integrity, and supporting various administrative functions within the department.
Duties:
• Process weekly payroll based on hours, activity, and established pay structures.
• Review supporting documentation for accuracy and required approvals.
• Prepare, update, and upload payroll reports.
• Add, adjust, and audit wages, deductions, reimbursements, and accruals.
• Set up new employees and process terminations promptly.
• Maintain spreadsheets for bonuses, referrals, and other pay-related programs.
• Assist with onboarding by explaining payroll processes.
• Participate in cross-training within the department.
• Process weekly settlements for eligible personnel and contractors.
• Prepare final settlement closeouts.
• Enter deductions, reimbursements, and pay adjustments.
• Confirm required documentation for all processed work.
• Calculate and enter vacation or applicable paid time adjustments.
Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in payroll, accounting, or bookkeeping.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word; familiarity with ERP systems preferred.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with strict deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and professionalism.
• Dependable, team-oriented, and adaptable.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Salary : $50,000 - $60,000
