MoreYellow is seeking a talented, experienced individual to serve as our in-house accounting manager. This position will support the Finance Team and CEO. Primary responsibilities will include management of AP/AR, client and vendor communications, onboarding paperwork of new employees, and supporting the day-to-day office operations.
Responsibilities
- Handle all AP & AR financial matters
- Manage ongoing budget/forecast against AP & AR
- Process billing transactions including Budget/PO/Actual reconciliation
- Create all client invoices
- Reconcile accounts and organize company financial records in Quickbooks Online
- Communicate with vendors and internal teams to resolve billing issues
- Collect payments from various clients
- Process vendor payments
- Prepare client and accounting reports and statements
- Prepare monthly closing report for clients and company
- Administer benefits enrollment and new employee onboarding using HR/Payroll/Benefit platform, Gusto, and work with their representative system to ensure HR compliance
- Expert in Quickbooks Online
- 5 years of experience as an Accountant or Accounting Manager
- Must have experience working with a team of 50 people of less
- Highly proficient in Google Suite - Sheets, Docs, Google Calendar and Gmail
- Ability to work overtime if needed, especially at month-end
- Strong analytical skills, detail oriented
- Capable of making timely, independent decisions
- Ability to work well in an environment with firm deadlines; results oriented
