Solo Residential House Cleaner – $17–$20/Hour

PAY $16–$20 per hour.

Starting pay is based on professional cleaning experience, skill level, efficiency, reliability, work quality, and diligence. Higher pay is reserved for cleaners who consistently complete high-quality work, manage appointments efficiently, follow company procedures, and work independently without direct supervision. Paid drive time is provided between scheduled appointments.

SCHEDULE

Part-time. Primarily daytime weekday hours. Hours may vary depending on client bookings, cancellations, and seasonal demand. Applicants must have dependable weekday availability and be comfortable working a schedule that may change from week to week. Cleaners are responsible for reviewing their schedules, coordinating their time effectively, and arriving at every appointment on time.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Independently clean recurring residential homes according to company procedures and digital checklists. Clean kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living rooms, and other designated areas. Complete dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing, and detailed cleaning tasks. Carefully follow client notes, property instructions, and special requests provided by the office. Manage appointment times effectively and complete cleanings within the scheduled timeframe. Complete all required digital checklists before leaving each property. Communicate promptly with the office regarding delays, scheduling concerns, supply needs, damages, unsafe conditions, or unusual situations. Protect clients’ belongings and respect their homes, privacy, and personal property. Maintain consistent cleaning quality without direct supervision. Keep cleaning supplies and equipment clean, organized, and properly stocked. Communicate with clients through the company office rather than exchanging personal phone numbers or arranging appointments directly with clients.

REQUIREMENTS

Must have their own reliable transportation. Must have a valid driver’s license and current auto insurance. Must be willing and able to travel throughout our service area, generally within approximately one hour of Cassopolis, Michigan. Must be able to coordinate time effectively, follow the daily schedule, and arrive at appointments accordingly. Must have a reliable smartphone with access to scheduling, checklist, and communication applications. Must be dependable, punctual, organized, and able to work independently. Must have strong attention to detail and take pride in producing consistent, high-quality work. Must be able to follow written instructions, cleaning checklists, company procedures, and client-specific notes. Must be able to lift and carry cleaning supplies and equipment. Must be able to bend, kneel, reach, climb stairs, and remain physically active throughout the workday. Must be comfortable working in homes with children and pets. Must maintain a professional attitude and appearance. Professional residential cleaning experience is preferred. However, we are willing to consider applicants who demonstrate reliability, diligence, strong attention to detail, and the ability to learn and follow company procedures.
