Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential homes, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitization to ensure a pristine environment
- Execute floor care tasks such as sweeping, carpet cleaning, and floor polishing using appropriate cleaning equipment and techniques
- Handle laundry duties efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens
- Maintain high standards of sanitation by implementing proper cleaning and sanitation procedures across all areas
- Use cleaning detergents and supplies safely while adhering to safety protocols for manual handling and heavy lifting tasks
- Communicate professionally with clients to understand their specific cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service
- Manage time effectively to complete assigned tasks within scheduled timeframes while maintaining quality standards
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping is preferred; janitorial or custodial experience is a plus
- Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, outdoor work experience, and floor care techniques
- Ability to operate various cleaning equipment safely and effectively, including vacuum cleaners, carpet cleaners, and floor buffers
