What are the responsibilities and job description for the HS Assistant Swim Coach position at Morenci High School?
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Teaching certification preferred(not required)
- Swimming Coaching experience preferred
- Assist in maintaining high academic standards for all student/athletes
- Completion or current enrollment in a CPR and First Aid training course
- Desire and ability to work with students, staff, and parents
- Ability and willingness to follow instructions
- Ability to serve as a positive role model for students
- Knowledge of swim team practice organization, substantial knowledge of the technical aspects of the sport, and safety as it applies to coaching swimming
- Must obtain a level one fingerprint card with IVP# at time of employment (District Office)
- Other qualifications as determined by the administrator
The position will require after school commitments for practice and game supervision.
