Brief Description

  • Under the guidance of the Customer Service Representative –
  • translates customer specs into readily understandable documents by using common language and live samples.
  • follows a job from the time it is received in-house until completion and insuring quality work and timely scheduling.
  • is a reliable, knowledgeable, and dependable contact for customers.
  • follows through with each job, both within the company and with outside vendors, organizational skills are imperative.
  • submits clear, complete and accurate work orders for production.
  • identifies emerging client needs that may present new service opportunities for the company and quantify what the client would spend for that service.
  • coordinates ordering of outside printed purchases required to perform the job.
  • enters work orders and purchase orders for outside vendors.
  • keeps track of multiple jobs in various stages in production.
  • helps prepare completed jobs for billing.
  • Miscellaneous general office duties including copying, faxing, and light filing.
  • Able to maintain positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that gets along with customers, co-workers and supervisors.
  • Mathematical skills needed are ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rates and percentages.
  • Reasoning abilities required are to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.


Requirements

  • Have effective verbal communication and written communication skills.
  • Ability to represent the company in a courteous and cooperative manner.
  • Have excellent organizational skills and attention to details.
  • Have a good attitude and an affinity for people, able to tolerate different personality types.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, listen carefully, negotiate with customers are all important.
  • Proficient with Microsoft office suite, predominantly Excel.
  • Ability to be present and available at the scheduled times and locations as outlined in the work schedule.


Summary

Assists the Customer Service Representatives in accurately conveying to production the instructions pertinent to various job specifications as described by the customer.

College degree preferred, printing experience is helpful. Very fast paced environment. Great attention to detail is mandatory. Must work well as part of a team and be able to prioritize multiple projects while coordinating and communicating with various production departments.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office is necessary.
