What are the responsibilities and job description for the Home Care Aide/Caregiver position at Moore Abundant Home Care?
Provide non-medical home care services and assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs) to Organization clients according to the signed Service Plan.
Qualifications:
• At least 18 years of age
• Able to read and write legibly
• Registered as a caregiver with the State of California (includes TB test, mandated
reporter training, fingerprints/background test)
• Able to communicate effectively with fellow clients, co-workers, and office staff
• Able to recognize own limitations and request help when needed
• Able to treat and care for clients and their property with dignity and respect
• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
• Possess a valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance, and complete a DMV check
Working Conditions:
• Work in clients’ homes on schedule agreed to between client and office. This may
include evenings and weekends. The HCA will have the option to accept or decline
any individual client’s hours or service.
