Berlin/Simsbury, Connecticut law firm is seeking a full-time, 2-4 year Litigation Attorney for immediate hire to join its expanding Litigation Department. The Litigation team focuses on Probate Litigation, including Will Contests, Conservatorships, and Financial Exploitation. This attorney role features high autonomy--our attorneys develop strategy, manage their cases, and build client relationships, with experienced attorneys available for guidance.The Litigation Attorney will handle a mix of fiduciary and probate dispute matters, includingresearching and drafting substantive motions, pleadings and discovery;conducting and defending depositions;appearing frequently in Probate Court and Superior Court; andmanaging your own caseload with strong mentorship and support.Probate Litigation Attorney candidates should have:A strong interest in litigation and courtroom advocacy.Excellent writing and analytical skills.The ability to manage a caseload with increasing independence.Prior experience in litigation or probate is a plus, but not required — the Firm will train the motivated attorney.CompensationApproximate Pay: Starting from $110,000 plus incentives, benefits package, retirement plan, and profit sharing.Work Location & HoursPrimarily onsite with future hybrid considered, according to Firm needs and client demand. The Firm supports work life balance, and this position is 40 hours per week with no overage. Billable hours requirement is a reasonable 1200 annually.
