My client, a leading Boston healthcare organization, is seeking a Clinical Scheduling Coordinator to join a collaborative administrative team supporting patients participating in specialized treatment programs and clinical research initiatives.

In this role, you'll work closely with patients, providers, nurses, and administrative staff to coordinate appointments, communicate updates, and help ensure patients receive a seamless experience throughout their care journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule appointments across multiple providers, departments, and clinical teams
- Serve as a primary point of contact for patients, providing scheduling updates and answering questions related to appointments and next steps
- Communicate regularly with physicians, nurses, and administrative staff to ensure scheduling accuracy and continuity of care
- Manage complex scheduling workflows that require coordination between multiple stakeholders and timelines
- Prepare and maintain patient scheduling records, calendars, and supporting documentation
- Verify required information and assist with administrative processes necessary to support patient care and treatment plans
- Respond to incoming phone calls, emails, and patient inquiries in a professional and empathetic manner
- Assist with schedule adjustments, provider changes, and time-sensitive appointment coordination
- Support department operations through data entry, record maintenance, and additional administrative projects as needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure an exceptional patient experience throughout the scheduling process
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred, ideally in Public Health, Healthcare Management, Health Sciences, Psychology, Biology, or a related field
- 0–2 years of experience in customer service, healthcare administration, patient services, or a related environment
- Healthcare experience is a plus, including internships, volunteer work, clinical placements, or research experience
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with patients and healthcare professionals
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Compassionate, patient-focused mindset with a commitment to providing exceptional service
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort learning new systems
