- Required: Minnesota state licensure from PELSB in Special Education for appropriate area of specialization.
- Required: Valid Minnesota driver’s license.
- Preferred: Experience working with secondary transition aged students.
- Preferred: Minnesota state licensure from PELSB in Teacher Coordinator Work Based Learning.
- Implement state and federal laws, statutes, rules and regulations pertaining to special education and Work Based Learning responsibilities
- Follow and implement all due process and timeline requirements in special education
- Work well with students with severe Autism and/or Developmental Cognitive Disabilities
- Collaborate and work closely with a team of teachers and related services staff
- Work with community leaders/businesses to secure and develop work-based learning sites
- Establishes a culture for learning by supporting the mission, beliefs and the strategic plan of the district
- Maintain confidentiality of information about students, staff and families
- Experience working with diverse students and families - experience/training with CLR (Culturally Linguistically Responsive) methods preferred
