Position: Part-time Activities Aide

Job Summary:
The Activity Aide will be responsible for assisting in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of recreational, social, and educational programs for residents in a long-term care facility. The Activity Aide will work under the direction of the Activity Director to ensure that programs are designed to meet the physical, emotional, and social needs of residents

Starting Wage is $15.00 - $18.58 base hourly wage, dependent on experience

Qualifications:
- Experience working with seniors preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating recreational, social, and educational programs for residents
- Assist in the coordination of special events and outings
- Encourage resident participation in activities and events
- Assist in the setup and cleanup of activity areas
- Document resident participation in activities and events
- Assist in the maintenance of activity equipment and supplies
- Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Activity Director
