DESCRIPTION
The Surgical Technician assists in the care of patients in the Labor and Delivery area and the Obstetrical Operating Room, which includes the care, preparation, and maintenance of sterile and un-sterile supplies and equipment. Under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse is responsible for performing individually assigned patient care activities based upon established patient care policies and procedures and routine tasks essential for upkeep of obstetrical area.
QUALIFICATIONS
HS Diploma or Equivalent, Graduate of nationally accredited surgical technologist educational program. Will be required to maintain the certified surgical technologist credential as well as annual continuing education requirements. One year Patient Care and OB experience preferred. Certified Surgical Technologist required.
$30.40 - $38.00 PER HOUR
