Clerical Coordinator - Women's Health & Prevention Services
Hourly rate, $22, negotiable
Create a customer friendly environment utilizing exemplary customer service skills; greet patients upon entry to medical office, obtain all pertinent demographic information from patients and family members; schedule and verify appointments. Maintain an organized and friendly patient reception environment. Assist in creating and maintaining electronic health records. Performs various secretarial and clerical functions in support of the Breast Center’s Medical Director and patient population. Performs checking in and checking out of patients, scheduling appointments, insurance verification and eligibility and collecting copayments.
B. Essential Job Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Associates Degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of busy medical office experience required, including billing experience. Experience using EPIC EMR system preferred.
- Training/Certification: Medical Terminology helpful, Computer Literate (Microsoft Office, Excel).
- Licensure: N/A
- Other: Strong skillset in multitasking. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, Bilingual (Spanish) helpful.
