About the Role
Montecito Bank & Trust is offering a paid part-time Bank Operations Internship in our Bank Operations Department. As a Bank Operations Intern, you will work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with members of Bank Operations as well as other Bank Departments as needed. You will be located in Goleta, CA with a fully on-site work schedule.
What We’re Looking For
- A high school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 2 years of College/University coursework preferred; most relevant coursework would include business, economics, accounting, and finance.
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Driven to learn, proactive, and adaptable.
Your Responsibilities
Under the direct supervision of the Operations Support Manager, the essential functions of this role include, but are not limited to:
- Document Management: Validation and comparison of records in Ops Support and Loan Services.
- Title policy review and process for Loan Services.
- Procedure Management: Document imports for procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
Internship Schedule
- The internship program will run from May/June 2026 through August/September 2026 (flexible depending on school schedule or other job obligations).
- The position will be on-site up to 20 hours per week, with no ability to work remote, for up to 8 weeks.

The hourly rate for this position is $18.00.
