Job description:

The role:
A private family relocating to Villefranche-sur-Mer is looking for a Private Chef to join their household from mid-August. This is a part-week role, working 4 days per week, typically Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, the schedule to expect need to be flexible, but the chef can expect to be working from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. The chef will prepare lunch on site and leave dinner prepared in the fridge for the family to reheat in the evening.

Food and cuisine preferences:
The family follows a mostly vegetarian diet, with no fish or shellfish and occasional chicken. They enjoy healthy Mediterranean-style food alongside Southeast Asian cuisine, so a broad and creative repertoire is required. Meals are relaxed and family-style, with a focus on fresh, balanced cooking suitable for a household with young children.

Contract and package:
This is a freelance position for a self-employed or auto-entrepreneur Private Chef. The role is 4 days per week. Salary is €7,500 to €8,500 per month, invoiced directly to the family. The chef will cook lunch and prepare dinner in advance to minimise time spent in the home.
