Position Summary
As the Renewable Fuels Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting Montauk’s growth by assisting with new business opportunities, assisting with proposals, making client contact, investigating market trends and opportunities, and maintaining client relationships. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals eager to start a career in renewable energy and develop their skills in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Research potential clients and market opportunities to support business development.
- Assist in preparing responses to RFPs, RFIs and other bid documents.
- Coordinate with internal teams to gather necessary information for proposals.
- Respond to inquiries, provide product information, and maintain positive relationships with customers.
- Build customer base by performing industry outreach.
- Update and maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
- Preparing internal and external presentations on our business and opportunities in the industry.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with CRM tools is a plus.
- Interest in renewable energy and sustainability.
- Experience in customer service and/or sales.
