- Participate in assessment of student learning activities to maximize the potential for students to learn what is necessary to meet course and health program(s) outcomes.
- Support student success, including office hours and student advising.Service
- Collaborate with Jacket Student Central and the Department Chair to schedule courses that align with student demand.
- Collaborate with Jacket Student Central on issues of student advising.
- Assist program faculty in advisement of students with complex or serious problems.
- Serve on committees contributing to the growth of City College, and Montana State University Billings.Scholarly Activities

- Master’s degree in biology or a closely related field from a regionally accredited university.Experience Required:
- Demonstrated knowledge of academic instruction, testing and evaluation.
- 2 years university level teaching experience in the natural sciences.
- Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience in assessment of student learning outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience working collaboratively in the workplace, as well as with community and health care entities.
- Demonstrated experience in using software applications ( i.e. Microsoft Office).
- Demonstrated experience with online instruction.Education Preferred:
- Doctoral degree in Biology or a closely related field from a regionally accredited university.Experience Preferred:
- Demonstrated experience teaching with an online platform (i.e. Desire to Learn OR Canvas)
- Teaching experience at a Two-Year accredited institution of Higher Education.Requires sufficient mobility to work in a college with hands-on programs and operations, operate office equipment, able to lift or pull at least 40 pounds. Additional physical demands may include: stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching overhead and horizontally, repetitive hand movements, sitting for extended periods of time, and 4-6 hours of screen time per day.Applicants will be reviewed and interviewed on an ongoing basis after the screening date.
