What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Product position at Montana Knife Company, Inc?
Why This Role Exists
Montana Knife Company was built with pride, grit, and an obsession with doing things the right way. We believe in craftsmanship, people, and building something that lasts.
This role exists because MKC is entering its next chapter.
Knives will always be at the heart of what we do, but the opportunity ahead is bigger. This is a chance to help shape MKC into a broader gear company, while protecting the culture and standards that made the brand matter.
This is an ownership role, not a maintenance role.
What You’ll Own
As Director of Product, you will own the end-to-end product business across categories, with direct responsibility for how product decisions impact inventory, margin, storytelling, and customer trust.
This includes full ownership of the apparel product roadmap, ensuring the product development calendar is aligned to business needs, commercial planning, and go-to-market execution.
You are running a business within the business.
