What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Manager position at Montaluce Winery and Restaurant | Dahlonega?
We are looking for a passionate individual to manage both of our restaurants on our beautiful property in Dahlonega, GA. You will be responsible for the selection, development, and performance of the front of house hospitality staff. This is a full-time position requiring between 40-60 hours per week. You will report directly to the Executive Director and Director of Operations.
Job Description
- Expected to develop an extensive knowledge of Montaluce & its experiences
- Expected to develop an extensive knowledge of and enforce Montaluce's policies and standards
- Responsible for overseeing both the Le Vigne and Trattoria di Montaluce restaurants
- Responsible for interacting with guests and ensuring their needs are being met
- Can promptly handle guests' complaints in a professional manner
- Can maintain a professional and friendly demeanor while representing Montaluce
- Responsible for ensuring the restaurants are kept in pristine condition at all times
- Responsible for understanding and reporting the financials for both restaurants
- Responsible for communicating with the Executive Director and Director of Operations and relaying pertinent information
Requirements

- Experience - years of restaurant management experience in an upscale or fine dining restaurant

Pay: $75,000 depending on experience (eligible for annual review for raise)
Advancement: Will be able to advance to further management roles in the company as opportunities arise
