MONROE-WOODBURY MENTOR PROGRAM
Monroe-Woodbury Central School District is committed to academic achievement and success for all students in a safe environment. In partnership with families and our community, the district’s mission is to promote confidence, inspire a passion for learning, and to prepare students to become responsible global citizens.
This is a 12 month stipend position, appointed yearly. There is one building coordinator in each building who oversees the professional Mentor program in his/her building and facilitates communications with the Building Administration and between Mentor and Intern and with the Program Director.
Qualifications

Qualifications
- Must be a tenured Teacher or Teaching Assistant in the district
- 3 years in District or minimum of 5 years of teaching in the curricular area
- Demonstrated knowledge and application of solid pedagogy
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills, and have ability for objective analysis
