Requirements
- Must meet NYSED Fingerprinting requirements
- Must meet Civil Service requirements
- Class B Commercial Driver's license, with P and S endorsements
- Approval by New York DMV bus driver unit "active-school qualified"
- Meets NY commissioner of Education standards as a school bus driver
- Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Physical abilities commensurate with demands of the position
- Proven safe bus driving skills
- Must commit to scheduled hours
