- Supervise and ensure camper safety during all water activities, including swimming, boating, fishing, and shoreline exploration.
- Monitor campers while swimming, track session start and end times, and ensure smooth transitions to the next activity.
- Provide first aid and demonstrate lifesaving strategies as needed.
- Assist in camper check-in and check-out procedures.
- Organize and maintain the waterfront equipment and storage area.
- Provide general supervision when water activities are not in session.
- Training: Up to 3 training days, beginning June 15.

- Daily Hours: 8:15 AM 3:45 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch).
- Location: Knabusch Math & Science Center.
- Compensation: $120/day
- Bonus Opportunity: Performance-based end-of-season bonus available at a rate of 2x your daily rate.
- Must hold a valid lifeguard certification (or be willing to obtain certification before the start of camp).
- Ability to demonstrate lifesaving strategies and first aid knowledge.
- Strong swimming skills and experience operating canoes, kayaks, or paddleboards.
- Experience working with children in an outdoor setting.
- Preference given to outgoing, adventurous candidates with prior outdoor or lifeguarding experience.

Camp Lifeguard SurvivorKids Camp
The Camp Lifeguard is responsible for ensuring the safety of all campers participating in water-based activities at the Knabusch Math & Science Center (KMSC), including boating, fishing, and water sampling in ponds and channels. The lifeguard must be certified (or willing to become certified) and have experience working with children in grades K-7. During boating sessions, the lifeguard will be required to operate a canoe, kayak, or paddleboard. Expect to spend most of the day outdoors.
