Job Description:Job Function:Function of Position: This position reports directly to the Coordinator of Testing Services and participates with a team to support the planning and oversight of operations in the Testing Services department. The Clerk II will greet, direct, and assist students coming to the Test Proctoring Center to ensure a smooth and positive intake process. This position requires working with confidential student issues, maintaining confidential student records, and ensuring security for assessment materials. Employee will need critical thinking skills with an emphasis on maintaining a quiet, non-distracting, and positive atmosphere in the Testing Center, as well as the ability to communicate with students and staff in person, on the phone, and via email in a courteous and professional manner. - Greet, direct, and assist students to ensure a smooth and positive intake process
- Maintain student records and secure assessment materials for computerized exams
- Respond to student inquiries regarding the MCC testing program and support services
- Maintain records of testing and compile weekly reports regarding testing
- Review and file documentation
- Input testing data and update SOATEST for placement tests
- Schedule appointments, maintain budget and process purchasing for departmentAccommodated and Proctored Testing
- Communicate with Faculty and students regarding Exams
- File and return Exams in the manner prescribed by the faculty
- Maintain SSD Testing Email, end-of-day audits, and follow-up communications
- Ensure testing accommodations are delivered in an ADA-compliant manner
- Identify and record testing accommodations utilized
- Troubleshoot and support students with assistive technology
- Ensure the security of exams until tests are returned to professorsMCC Expectations:

- Must currently hold the Monroe County Office Clerk II title or meet the minimum qualifications below to be hired under the HELPS title Link
- Graduation from high school or possession of an equivalency diploma, plus EITHER:
- Graduation with an Associate's degree or successful completion of at least sixty (6) credit hours from a college or university.
- Two (2) years paid full-time or its part-time equivalent office clerical or secretarial experience.Preferred Qualifications:
