    • Identify gaps where industry demand exists but student career exploration or work-based learning opportunities are limited and, where appropriate, support the creation or expansion of opportunities aligned to high-demand industries.
    • Serve as a regional support resource for district-based work-based learning coordinators and career readiness staff, to reduce duplication and increase impact.

    Communication, Outreach & Resource Sharing
    • Utilize and enhance existing communication channels to disseminate information to educators, counselors, administrators, families, students, and business partners across Monroe County.
    • Develop and implement a coordinated communication strategy to increase awareness of career pathways, work-based learning opportunities, and postsecondary options.
    • Manage digital systems (e.g., shared platforms or websites) to ensure resources are current, well organized, and easily accessible.
    • Act as a single-entry point for business and industry partners seeking to engage with K–12 schools around career pathways, advisement, and workforce preparation.

    Funding, Sustainability & Operations
    • Seek and manage grant funding and other financial resources to support the sustainability and growth of the MCBEA.
    • Collaborate with the local workforce development agency and other partners on funding alignment and shared initiatives.
    • Support budgeting, reporting, and event logistics for MCBEA activities.
    • Collaborate with workforce agencies and partners to plan and support regional career awareness and career exploration events.

    Additional Responsibilities
    • Participate in relevant regional, state, and national networks related to workforce development, talent strategy, career-connected learning, and work-based learning.
    • Collect, analyze, and share data related to MCBEA activities and outcomes.
    • Perform other related duties consistent with the scope and responsibilities of the position, as assigned.
