Duties
- Lead Special Education Program in the absence of the classroom teacher.
- Support and manage the classroom in the absence of the teacher.
- Valid NYS Certification: Initial/Professional Students with Disabilities 1-6 OR Students with Disabilities 7-12 Generalist OR Permanent Special Education K-12 preferred.
- Experience with students in Special Education programs preferred.
- Knowledge and Experience implementing New York State Curriculum and Standards preferred.
- Experience with Therapeutic Crisis Intervention model preferred.
- Physically able to perform essential functions of the position (with or without reasonable accommodation).
