Assistant Transportation Coordinator
- Annual Salary Range: from $50,000 - $53,000

Performance Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily operation of the Transportation Department
- Enter and edit student data/routing in transportation database (i.e. Logic54)
- Prepare routes for MOESC Contractual Districts Special Ed, Temporary, Vocational, Public and Non Public students (review, create, design the most efficient routes possible) based on school schedules and applicable laws.
- Daily contact with member districts/contractors/parents/receiving schools via telephone/fax/e-mail to ensure proper operation of transportation program and problem solving
- Prepare bids/renewals/quotes
- Create student information reports for districts and schools; update frequently
- Maintain an accurate and current filing system
- Create and mail bus passes
- Accident reporting
- Handling of student incident reports with districts and receiving schools to ensure action is taken when necessary
- Attend annual meetings (non-public county meeting, non-public calendar meeting, transportation meetings when requested)
- Investigation of compliance - contractors' drivers and aides with Criminal History Review Unit and Motor Vehicle Commission
- Maintain confidentiality
- Flexibility in learning new tasks and assignments
- Perform all other duties as assigned
