MONMOUTH COLLEGE, a private liberal arts college and member of the Associated Colleges of the Midwest, invites applications for a one-year sabbatical replacement position in Physics in the School of Engineering, Sciences, and Innovation beginning in August 2026. All sub-disciplines in Physics will be considered, along with closely related disciplines. The successful candidate will be committed to undergraduate teaching excellence, teaching mainly physics, but the ability to teach in nearby disciplines (Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, and Data Science) is a strong plus. We seek a person with a passion for working with undergraduates on a wide range of undergraduate research projects as a part of teaching and learning physics. Normal teaching load is 4 courses per semester (4-4 load).
Salary range for this position is $56,000 to $57,000 with attractive benefits package including health plan with dental and vision.
