About the Opportunity

The Monin Flavor Academy Internship Program is your chance to dive into the vibrant world of flavor creation and business innovation. Over 9 immersive weeks, you’ll gain hands-on experience, collaborate across departments, and contribute to projects that bring Monin’s mission to life. This is more than just an internship; it’s a chance to learn from passionate professionals, sharpen your business and creative instincts, and leave your mark on a global flavor brand.

Project Overview

This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to support the launch and early development of Poka, our digital knowledge-sharing and productivity platform. The intern will play a key role in helping identify process gaps, troubleshoot operational challenges, and develop solutions that make daily workflows smoother and more efficient for employees across the department.

This project directly supports the Supply Chain team’s goals of enhancing operational visibility, improving training materials, and streamlining communication so employees can perform their work more effectively.

What You’ll Do

·         Poka Integration

·         Assist in the initial rollout and setup of Poka.

·         Help upload content, organize information, and ensure workflows are functional.

·         Identify early-stage system gaps or user challenges.

·         Lean Manufacturing Practices

·         Support initiatives that reduce waste, increase efficiency, and improve process flow.

·         Participate in evaluating current operations and identifying improvement opportunities.

·         Operations Immersion

·         Spend structured time with each supervisor to gain firsthand knowledge of day-to-day activities.

·         Document processes, challenges, and improvement opportunities.

·         Process Troubleshooting & Solution Finding

·         Observe current workflows, identify pain points, and help develop practical solutions to simplify tasks for employees.

·         Strong interest in operations, supply chain, or continuous improvement.

·         Good communication and organizational skills.

·         Excel, PowerPoint, Business Central (BC), Email, Teams, Word, and other standard office applications.

·         Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

·         A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
