What are the responsibilities and job description for the US Head of Operations - Hedge Fund - $350-450k total comp (+bonus buyout) position at Mondrian Alpha?
A multi-billion dollar AUM global Hedge Fund, with a strong footprint in Asia, albeit rapidly expanding out in the US (Manhattan office), are looking to hire a US Head of Operations.
The hire will manage ( look to build out) a small team - the team have broad coverage across core operations, trader assistant and product control tasks. It is a highly technical / quantitative team that closely support both the PM/trader and quant teams, producing complex analytical performance reports, commentary and market analysis they continuously look to automate daily processes - as a result, team members develop strong skills across a range of programming languages.
Candidates must be experienced hedge fund operations professionals, from a high-volume, multi-strategy background. Programming skills and a strong track record in process automation are required - Python, SQL and/or advanced VBA are a pre-requisite. Candidates should have supervisory experience.
The role is targeted to pay a year one $350-450k total comp package - the variable is dependent on both fund and individual performance. My client will buy-out a bonus to compensate for moving mid-year (they pay bonuses in December).
