Product Owner (Data & AI) - Boutique Fixed Income Hedge Fund - New York

My client, a boutique hedge fund, is seeking a Product Owner (Data & AI) to lead the development and delivery of data-driven and AI-enabled products, based in New York.

Positioned at the intersection of business, data and technology, you will play a key role in defining and executing the firm’s data and AI product strategy. Working closely with stakeholders across business units, data science, engineering and risk, you will translate complex problems into scalable, high-impact solutions that drive measurable business outcomes.

This is a high-impact role for an individual comfortable operating across both strategic and technical domains. You will own the product vision and roadmap for data and AI initiatives, prioritise delivery across cross-functional teams, and ensure the successful deployment of solutions that enhance efficiency, improve decision-making and manage risk. You will also contribute to the development of best practices around AI governance, data quality and responsible deployment.

The role offers broad exposure across the organisation, requiring close collaboration with senior stakeholders as well as technical teams, with responsibility for aligning business objectives to data and AI capabilities while balancing short-term delivery with long-term platform development.

The ideal candidate will have 10 years of experience in product management or product ownership, including at least 5 years working on data and AI-driven products. Strong mortgage domain knowledge, combined with experience delivering data platforms or AI solutions in complex environments, is essential.
