The client is a leading hedge fund with a global investment footprint and a strong track record of performance. With a dynamic culture and large focus on technology, they seek to attract top talent to support their continued growth and operational excellence.
The firm continue to grow both AuM and headcount and there is an increasing demand to understand all aspects of the business and the data they own and produce. As a result of this, they are looking for a highly capable FP&A Manager to join their finance team. This role will be central to enhancing the firm’s financial planning, analysis, and decision-making capabilities.
Role Overview
The FP&A Manager will lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities across the firm. This role requires a hands-on individual with excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills who can partner with senior stakeholders and manage a small team.
Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to)
- Lead the end-to-end budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes.
- Provide insightful financial analysis and reporting to support executive decision-making.
- Collaborate closely with the CFO, department heads, and investment teams to support business planning and performance monitoring.
- Develop and enhance financial models, dashboards, and KPIs.
- Drive continuous improvement in FP&A processes, tools, and systems.
- Manage and mentor junior finance staff.
- Prepare board-level materials and investor reporting as required.
Requirements
- 10 years of relevant FP&A or strategic finance experience, ideally within a hedge fund, asset management, or broader financial services environment.
- Proven experience managing and developing junior team members.
- Strong financial modeling and Excel skills; experience with reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) a plus.
- Highly analytical with excellent attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills – confident interacting with senior stakeholders.
- Professional qualification (CPA/CFA) or MBA preferred but not essential.
Salary : $450,000
