The client are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented FP&A Analyst to join the finance team at a fast-paced and growing hedge fund. This is a great opportunity for a finance professional with 1-3 years of experience to build on their analytical skills and gain broad exposure across the business.
You will support strategic financial initiatives by providing high-quality analysis, working with internal stakeholders, and helping drive cost transparency and reporting accuracy across the firm.
Responsibilities
- Work with internal business teams to understand and track operational spending, developing insight into cost drivers and trends.
- Assist in the development and execution of internal cost attribution methodologies.
- Produce financial reports and executive presentations with a focus on accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
- Support the preparation of regular and ad hoc financial analysis for senior stakeholders.
- Collaborate with departments including Technology, Operations, Compliance, and Legal on financial planning and policy implementation.
- Participate in ongoing projects to enhance internal reporting and financial systems.
Qualifications - A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline. CPA considered a bonus but not essential.
Requirements
- 1 years of relevant experience in financial services, asset management, or a related field (including Big Four/public accounting).
- Solid Excel skills, including pivot tables and formula-driven analysis; familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and a high standard of accuracy.
- Effective communicator with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise way.
- Comfortable working across teams and managing multiple deadlines in a dynamic environment.
