An extremely successful global credit hedge fund is making a strategic hire into its New York operations function to support the rapid scale-up of its US CLO platform.
This is a newly created CLO Operations hire in New York, driven by the success and continued growth of the franchise - the firm will aim to launch 3-4 US CLO’s each year moving forwards. The hire will sit on the investment desk, as the go-to person for US CLO operations, working closely with PM, trading and structuring teams in a highly business-facing remit - the role is true front-to-back ownership across the full CLO lifecycle. Given the New York buildout, there will also be meaningful project work and scope to improve processes / buildout new tools (with support from global teams during peak periods).
Strong progression is on offer, with an expectation that this hire can step into a management role as the US platform and New York office continue to scale.
