Job Description:
Senior-level infrastructure and network engineering role responsible for hands-on ownership, troubleshooting, maintenance, and modernization of critical Microsoft, networking, server, virtualization, storage, identity, and enterprise communication systems supporting approximately 2,000 users.

Job Summary: 

• Manage and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, connectivity, and F5 technologies.
• Administer Microsoft environments, including Active Directory, Entra/Azure Identity, ADFS, Group Policy, and related identity systems.
• Install, configure, rack, and maintain physical servers and infrastructure hardware.
• Manage on-premises and cloud virtualization environments.
• Manage SAN, NAS, and cloud storage environments.
• Manage DNS, PKI, and certificate infrastructure.
• Support Microsoft Teams, enterprise voice, conference rooms, and teleconferencing systems.
• Troubleshoot complex hardware, software, server, and network issues.
• Lead infrastructure upgrades, modernization initiatives, and new technology deployments.
• Participate in daily team collaboration and ticket-based support activities.
• Maintain infrastructure documentation and support secure, reliable IT operations.

Required Qualifications: 

• 5-7 years of related infrastructure/network engineering experience preferred for the Senior level.
• Expert Microsoft infrastructure and administration experience.
• Strong Active Directory, Entra/Azure Identity, ADFS, and Group Policy experience.
• Strong networking infrastructure experience, including firewalls, F5, routers, switches, TCP/IP, and enterprise connectivity.
• Experience with virtualization across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Experience with DNS, PKI, and certificate management.
• Experience managing physical servers and backend server infrastructure.
• Experience with SAN, NAS, and cloud storage technologies.
• Experience supporting enterprise voice, Microsoft Teams, conference rooms, and teleconferencing.
• Ability to independently troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and lead technical projects.
• Ability to work hands-on in a hybrid environment and support approximately 2,000 users.
• Ability to obtain a government security clearance.

• Cisco certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE.
• Check Point firewall experience.
• Juniper remote-access experience.
• NAC or ForeScout CounterAct experience.
• MPLS, VoIP, data-center networking, and network mapping experience.
• Aerospace or defense industry experience.
• Experience incorporating AI technologies into secure infrastructure environments.
• Experience mentoring engineers or leading cross-site infrastructure initiatives.
