As Finance Manager, you will serve as the primary finance partner for the US business,
overseeing commercial finance, project accounting, billing, accounts receivable, financial
reporting, and operational controls. You will work closely with senior stakeholders across the
business to improve profitability, provide commercial insight, and ensure financial processes
support continued growth. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious finance professional

The Role:
- Act as the lead finance business partner for the US operation, working closely with senior leadership to provide commercial insight, support strategic decision-making, and improve overall business performance while ensuring financial accuracy across client projects and agency operations
- Manage commercial finance activities including project accounting, budgeting, profitability analysis, work-in-progress reporting, revenue recognition, month-end reporting, and financial analysis to support operational teams throughout the lifecycle of client engagements
- Oversee billing, accounts receivable, cash management, bank reconciliations, expense management, and financial controls while ensuring timely collections, accurate reporting, and compliance with internal policies and financial procedures
- Support financial reporting, year-end audit processes, tax compliance, and continuous process improvement initiatives while collaborating closely with international finance colleagues to strengthen operational efficiency across the business
- Build strong relationships across finance and operational teams, provide financial guidance and training, identify commercial opportunities and financial risks, and contribute to the ongoing development of scalable finance processes that support continued agency growth
The Ideal Candidate:
- 3-7 years of experience in a finance role, ideally within a communications, marketing, advertising, media, or creative agency environment
- Strong commercial acumen with experience supporting project profitability, budgeting, financial reporting, billing, accounts receivable, and month-end close activities within a fast-paced business
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to build trusted relationships across multiple departments while managing competing priorities and delivering accurate financial information
- Exceptional attention to detail, and experience working with financial systems is ideal
Location: New York, NY (Hybrid)
Salary: $100,000-$125,000 (depending on experience)
