We're seeking a Vice President of Influencer Marketing with 10 years of experience to lead
strategic influencer marketing and integrated communications programs for a diverse portfolio of consumer brands. This senior leadership role will oversee client relationships, develop
innovative campaigns that drive cultural relevance and business impact, manage integrated
deliverables, and mentor a high-performing team.
The ideal candidate is an experienced strategic leader who blends creative thinking with
operational excellence, understands the evolving creator economy, and has a proven track record of building influencer campaigns that generate measurable results.
This is a hybrid position based in either New York City or Los Angeles.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop innovative, culturally relevant influencer and communications strategies that generate meaningful earned attention and business results.
- Identify emerging trends, white space opportunities, and consumer insights to create campaigns that stand out in competitive markets.
- Lead long-term communications and influencer strategies across a portfolio of retainer and project-based clients.
- Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to senior client stakeholders, establishing objectives, KPIs, success metrics, and measurement frameworks.
- Maintain a high creative standard by providing strategic direction, strengthening campaign concepts, and ensuring work is differentiated, insight-driven, and aligned with client goals.
- Build and maintain executive-level client relationships while serving as a primary senior point of contact.
- Partner closely with cross-functional teams—including PR, paid media, experiential, social, and creative—to deliver integrated campaigns.
- Support business development efforts by contributing to new business pitches, proposal development, and organic account growth.
- Oversee team staffing, workload management, mentorship, and professional development while fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and contribute thought leadership around influencer marketing, creator partnerships, and integrated communications.
- Lead influencer strategy across major social platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Reddit, podcasts, newsletters, and emerging channels.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with creators, talent representatives, agencies, and platform partners.
- Oversee campaign budgets and ensure efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
- Translate campaign performance into actionable insights using quantitative and qualitative data, while making strategic recommendations for future optimization.
Qualifications
- 10 years of experience in influencer marketing, communications, public relations, or integrated marketing, preferably within an agency or consulting environment.
- Demonstrated success developing and executing influencer campaigns that achieve measurable business and brand objectives.
- Strong network of creator, talent management, media, and platform relationships.
- Exceptional strategic thinking with the ability to connect cultural trends to business opportunities.
- Proven experience leading senior client relationships and providing executive-level strategic counsel.
- Excellent presentation, storytelling, and communication skills with experience leading high-stakes client meetings and new business presentations.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with experience managing multiple complex workstreams simultaneously.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality across all deliverables.
- Deep understanding of social platforms, creator ecosystems, influencer measurement, and performance analytics.
- Experience interpreting campaign performance using industry metrics such as CPM, CPC, CTR, engagement rate, reach, impressions, and conversion metrics.
- Passion for digital culture, emerging creators, and evolving consumer behavior.
- Experience managing, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams.
Compensation: $145,000 Bonus
