The Marketing / VIP Services Admin is responsible for handling all mail, email, and/or phone inquiries for Advertising, Marketing, and VIP Services departments. Providing proper support and/or facilitate to the appropriate person/department. The Marketing /VIP Services Admin will also assist with the operation of the Marketing / VIP Services department including but not limited to placing/tracking orders, coordinating and setup meetings, processing Win Loss Requests, Donation Requests, financial reconciliation and help facilitate promotions and events. This position is also responsible for data entry for supporting the Marketing / VIP Services departments. 


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with marketing manager and organize projects using the company’s project management system to ensure timely completion and adherence to deadlines.
  • Request bids from external vendors and suppliers as needed and ensure proper documentation and comparisons are maintained for internal review.
  • Responsible for ordering supplies and equipment.
  • Data entry for Marketing requests, promotions, etc. As well as returned mail offers into the casino’s player tracking system.
  • Assist with database cleanliness
  • Assist with database inquires
  • Heavy utilization of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point.
  • Coordination support of marketing activities, including direct mail, printing, customer events, promotions, and meetings.
  • Assists department in accomplishing plans and goals.
  • Event ticket administration, generating expense reports and p-card statements.
  • General assistance to Marketing / VIP Services teams.
  • Provides an exceptional level of guest service to all patrons of the casino. 
  • Utilizes casino and marketing software to ensure proper data entry and information collection.
  • Receives all phone calls filtered through the marketing department and provide high quality guest service through incoming and outgoing calls.
  • Facilitates and promotes business growth, marketing functions and casino promotions.
  • Helps organize and execute and assist with events and promotions.
  • Maintains security and confidentiality of all patron files, records and lists.
  • Maintains security and confidentiality of all guest information.
  • Adheres and complies with all casino policy and procedures, internal rules and regulations and abides by all regulations of the Colorado Department of Gaming. 
  • Helps disseminates marketing information to the casino hosts.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge, Skill and Ability:
  • Minimum of 6 months of hotel or gaming events/promotions experience preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience in VIP services or Front Desk Services of a casino/hotel property is preferred.
  • 1 to 2 years clerical experience preferred.
  • Typing ability of 70 WPM preferred.
  • Proficient in the use of computer applications, Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Power Point, CDS and ATI Oasis Slot Management System preferred.
  • Ability to all work shifts, weekends and holidays is required.
  • Must be able to provide a high level of customer service at all times.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to listen and verbally communicate with guests both in the casino and at external events.
  • Excellent writing skills preferred.
  • Must be able to work in and facilitate a team environment
  • Must keep a well-groomed professional appearance.
  • Must be able to meet deadlines, work under pressure and maintain professionalism in a fast paced and stressful work environment.
  • Must be able to acquire a Colorado Gaming Support License.
  • Ability to apply gaming knowledge and experience in day-to-day work scenarios. Ability to make decisions in the best interest of Monarch Casino Black Hawk based on precedence, policy, and procedure.

  • Proactive, self motivated individual with the ability to multi-task.
  • Ability and willingness to take on additional responsibility.

  • Education, Training & Experience:
  • Degree in Marketing, Business Management or similar field preferred. 
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Marketing and/or Casino experience, or 2 years experience in a challenging business environment is preferred.
