JOB SUMMARY
As an Ultrasound Technologist at Grafton City Hospital, you will provide quality imaging for the purpose of diagnostic, vascular and cardiac procedures and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders to the patient and self, following all regulatory requirements, and while providing extraordinary patient experience, compassionate care, and clinical excellence, one patient at a time. Performs radiographic and clerical functions as needed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Successful completion of a formal Ultrasound training program or equivalent training as specified by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
Experience: Must have at least 3 years' experience preferred. Effective interpersonal communication skills to effectively collaborate with physicians and coworkers and instruct patients and their families. Must know how to do X-ray exams when needed, required.
Licensure/Certification:
Must be certified and registered as RDMS (OB or AB) or RT(S) AND RT (VS, RVT, or RVS)
BLS certification either upon hire or within the orientation period.
