POSITION SUMMARY

The Registration/Scheduler Representative provides a "Patients First" experience and supports a positive workplace by maintaining an upbeat and professional work environment while completing all assigned tasks in a timely and accurate manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordinate services for patient registration, including greeting patients, collecting demographic data and insurance information, collecting co-pays, and communicating with other departments.
• Act as a liaison between departments to foster open communication and teamwork, utilizing positive and effective communication with all team members.
• Maintain strict patient confidentiality in all situations.
• Position requires occasional on call, evening and/or weekend hours.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent

EXPERIENCE

• Computer experience and a minimum typing speed of 25 wpm
• One (1) year of customer service and/or clerical experience
• Patient registration and/or health care experience preferred
