About the RoleWe’re looking for a Human Resources Generalist to support our growing, multi-state organization. This role is hands-on and works closely with our CHRO and community leadership on employee relations, benefits, payroll, and compliance.

What You’ll Do- Support employee relations, investigations, and manager coaching
- Administer benefits (ICHRA, 401k) and assist with renewals and underwriting
- Manage and track workers’ compensation claims and support return-to-work
- Oversee leave of absence programs (FMLA, CFRA, PDL, ADA)
- Partner with payroll and serve as backup for payroll processing
- Lead training for directors on HR practices and compliance
- Support onboarding, HR processes, and multi-state compliance
- 5 years of HR experience
- Strong knowledge of California labor laws and leave management
- Experience with benefits, workers’ comp, and payroll coordination
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- HRIS experience (Paylocity a plus)
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field; equivalent experience may substitute for a degree.
