The Employee Benefits Representative serves as a key point of contact for employees and managers regarding benefits eligibility, enrollment, coverage, claims, and plan provisions. This position supports benefits compliance, reporting, billing and invoice reconciliation, vendor file management, and ongoing review of benefit transactions and data accuracy. This role assists with annual open enrollment activities, new hire and life event processing, and continuous improvement of benefits processes and employee support.
Salary range: $64,800-72,000 plus 10% bonus

\n- Serve as a primary point of contact for employees and managers regarding benefits eligibility, enrollment, coverage, claims, and plan provisions
- Administer day-to-day benefit transactions, including new hires, qualifying life events, rehires, changes, terminations, and dependent eligibility
- Research and resolve benefits questions and issues, utilizing the benefits hotline, HR systems, and other support channels while partnering with internal teams and external vendors as needed
- Maintain accurate benefits, payroll, and employee data across HRIS, carrier, and vendor systems; identify and resolve discrepancies and processing issues
- Support benefits billing, invoice reconciliation, payroll deductions, HSA contributions, and retirement plan transactions
- Coordinate with brokers, carriers, third-party administrators, and vendors, including supporting reporting, file verification, utilization reviews, and issue resolution
- Support benefits compliance, audits, required reporting, and documentation
- Lead or assist with new hire benefits education and annual open enrollment activities
- Identify opportunities to improve benefits processes, systems, and employee experience and recommend solutions
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and benefits information and perform other duties as assigned
- Support annual open enrollment activities, including employee communications, system testing, data validation, and issue resolution
- Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered
- 2–4 years of experience in employee benefits administration, Human Resources, or a related field, with direct experience supporting benefit programs strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of employee benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, retirement, HSA/FSA, and other employer-sponsored benefits
- Experience working with HRIS, payroll, benefits administration, or other HR-related systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate benefits information clearly to employees, managers, and business partners
- Strong commitment to protecting confidential employee and benefits information
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook; experience with SharePoint or similar collaboration tools preferred
- Familiarity with applicable federal and state benefit regulations and compliance requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Experience with UKG or a similar HRIS/payroll/benefits administration system
- Experience supporting retirement plans, including 401(k) contributions, loans, payroll deductions, or related administration
- Experience with benefits billing, invoice reconciliation, vendor reporting, or benefits data analysis
- Experience supporting annual open enrollment and employee benefits education.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
