Summary:
Oversee Front Desk & Staff; ensure staff knows all proper procedures and duties and performs them correctly.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Safeguards SGEC Assets.
· Schedule Front Desk Staff.
· Knows all Front Desk duties and procedures.
· Ensure Front Desk Staff knows how to perform all procedures and duties.
· Schedule and conduct monthly Front Desk Staff meetings.
· Address any issues with Front Desk Staff.
· Assist Front Desk Staff when needed.
· Check rates of people checking in and checking out.
· Check for Group Masters that need to be checked in or out.
· Respond to any customer complaints.
· Ensure Front Desk and Back Office areas are clean.
· Check room blocks when needed.
· Inventory Back Office and order supplies when needed.
· Other duties as assigned by management.
Uniforms:
- Black pants, Black Shoes, and approved blouse or shirt
- Clean and Well groomed
- ID Badge & Gaming License
- No open toe shoes
- No jeans or t-shirt (must have the approved issued button up shirt)
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to operate a computer keyboard; computer experienced preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in written form
- Ability to handle and count cash
- Customer service experience
- Preference given to person with hotel experience
- Ability to complete a 90 day probationary period
- Ability to pass a mandatory drug screening
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Two forms of ID, one of which must be a photo ID.
- Must pass a background investigation and be able to obtain a Sokaogon Gaming Commission Gaming License.
- Pass a Title 31 Compliance Review within 30 days of hire.
This position is subject to the following conditions: obtain and maintain a valid Sokaogon Chippewa Gaming Commission license and pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol screenings. The job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties or qualifications.
